PSI's all-new 4.3-liter engine has been designed from the ground up. The fuel-flexible engine is more efficient and more powerful than similar displacements in the market, offering a power range of 35-50 kW.
PSI's already successful 8.8-liter "big block" engine now features an extended power range to 180 kW. The unit will come with enhanced features in 2015, including: a new closed crankcase ventilation system, offering reduced oil consumption and excellent cold ambient ability; a spark plug heat shield for better durability; a new oil pan and an engine-mounted catalyst.
"We're very excited about launching these breakthrough products at POWER-GEN this year," said
In addition, PSI will display its 5.7-liter General Motors industrial engine and .97-liter, as well as its 11.1-liter, 14.6-liter and 21.9-liter Heavy-Duty power systems. The Heavy-Duty engine family, which also includes 8.1-liter and 18.3-liter units, now features all-new advanced controls and emission systems on all models.
PSI's industrial and Heavy-Duty engines will be showcased at PSI's booth (#1910), as well as at the booths of numerous OEMs throughout the POWER-GEN International Show.
